Spring is in the air.............

Well Christmas in July is over and our store has reverted back to it's semi-normal Country Primitive State. Still tonnes of Christmas and lots of new stock arriving daily.

We have lots of country baskets in store, these long baskets pictured are 50 cm long by 20cm high. Great for berry sprigs or spring foliage. We also have skinny long baskets and a variety of others. Come in store to see what's new.

CHRISTMAS IN JULY 2009

Well what a fantastic weekend it was. Lots of people, lots of Christmas, lots of fun and of course Santa. Thanks to all the regulars who came and welcome to all the new comers. Everyone shopped up a storm and a great time was had by all.







Our Christmas in July was quite a fun affair. The atmosphere was great, the food divine and the games, well they had everyone in fits of laughter, involved and just enjoying the festive merriment. Congratulations Marj again on winning the HWC Angel statue in the final raffle draw. We hope to see you all again next year, bring your friends and thanks again for coming and helping make this event such a success!!!

It's Christmas in July 2009

Everyone come along this weekend to our 5th Annual Christmas in July. Our store is jam packed full of what's new for Christmas. Whether it's country, traditional or modern theme that your after we have something for everyone. Lots of glitz and bling and lots of yummy scents to get you in the Christmas mood.

The weekend will begin at 10am sharp opened by the big man himself, Santa and I think their may even be some snow forecast. Raffle prizes will be given out on the hour throughout the day. In the afternoon we serve delicious Gluhwein and roasted chestnuts.

On Saturday Night we will hold our Christmas dinner at Lawler's Hut restaurant. We will play some fun games, hold some great raffles and eat a wonderful 3 course Christmas Dinner.

On Sunday the fun continues with more free raffles and yummy eggnog and candied chestnuts. This is one weekend you will not want to miss. We'll see you there.

Welcome to a Winter Wonderland

Well there is snow on there them hills of Bright!!! It is so pretty at the moment, freezing, but spectacular to have crisp clear days and views of the mountains covered in snow. We are so inspired that all our gorgeous snowmen have arrived at Country Heart & Home. Autumn has arrived at Country Heart & Home

Well, we are choc o block full of new goodies here at CHH. Here are some pictures of our new Autumnal display. Lots of warm rich colours that simply look stunning. I have just unpacked a new shipment from the USA of Blossom Bucket, Barn Stars, Plates and plate holders, braided placemats, trivets, runners and larger floor rugs and floor runners, lots of tea towels, fabric table runners, table cloths and so much more. We had a fantastic response to our Backyard Sale over the Labour Day weekend that we are going to have another one over Easter, weather permitting.

I have just come back from melbourne with a huge haul of goodies from the States. Lots and lots more Blossom Bucket and some awesome plates and plate holders some with an autumnal feel. Christmas at the Ralph's 2008 - The Lower Lounge and Entry

This is my library wall unit in my lower lounge room. It is the perfect display unit for all my favourite Christmas pieces. They look stunning against the black backdrop, I get said when I pack them away.








This is looking into my lower lounge room. The trunk in the middle was brought back from Ohio, USA, the lid lifts and it has 4 drawers the perfect piece for my lounge. The pics on the wall are slate painting from Pennsylvania and the lounge and Wing back chairs were recently reupholstered in Warwick co-ordinating fabrics. This is my favourite room.






This is my Christmas tree in my down stairs lounge room. This tree is filled with handmade ornaments only. Homespun and rusty bell garlands twist thru the branches and lots of fairy lights

Christmas at the Ralph's 2008 - The Staircase

Christmas 2008 was a fun year to decorate. I had been to the USA earlier in the year and all my stock had arrived for our store thus quite a few things ventured home!! The first picture is at the bottom of our entry stairs, the sled that vintage santa and snowman are sitting on came from a little antique store in Ohio for the small sum ot $42.oo.









This next photo continues up our stairway. You can see Sammy the snowman peeking out of my step basket and how the lighted garland twinkles up the banister.







This photo is looking down our staircase from the top level, this little ledge that runs around the wall is the perfect place for all my santas, snowmen, teddies and friends to all get a birdseye view of who is coming up the stairs. The wall quilt was sewn by my neighbour and I have collected all the handmade pieces over the years from various talented crafters.
