Since the sale of Homespun Memories and the addition of it to Country Heart & Home, we have been very busy filling up our shelves with endless new products, fabrics and kits. For those of you that have visited since our amalgamation you would see that we just don't have the space in our store for classes on a regular basis. Dianne and I have been wondering what we could do to get all our quilter's and sewers together for a weekend of craft, sewing, food and fun and It gives me great pleasure to offer you a wonderful Patchwork & Quilter's Weekend Retreat from Friday 20th May to Sunday 22nd May. This will be a weekend of catch up on UFO projects, help to get started on something new or start on one of the many projects we will have new and ready to go in Kit form. Dianne and myself will be here for all your quilting, sewing and crafting questions and help. We are of the strong philosophy that Quilting and Craft is about gathering together, sharing and laughing all in the one mix, so this will definitely be a fun weekend to relax and enjoy!
We have found a hidden gem of a location right smack dab here in the middle of Bright! Less than a 2 minute walk to our store, which means Country Heart & Home will be open to you virtually 24/7, perfect for a late night dash to get some fabric or thread! Once you park your car you will not need to get into it for the whole weekend! How relaxing is that!!!
It's called River Lodge at the Bright Caravan and Camping Ground just off Cherry Street, first right off Delany Avenue after the Morses Creek Bridge. It has 10 rooms with 2 sets of bunks (2-4 people per room) Bathroom is shared between two rooms, very private, lovely and clean and bright and cheery. The large lounge and dining areas are perfect to set up and sew either lounging on the couches and window seats looking out at the lovely park or setting up your machine for some serious sewing!! Great natural lighting, Peaceful and perfect!!

The cost for this fun weekend includes 2 nights accommodation (twin share), Friday night dinner, wine & cheese, all meals Saturday, Sunday Breakfast and Lunch with departure in the afternoon. Cost per person is $195. Deposit of $50 to be paid by 10th March balance paid by 1st May.
Please see attached enrolment form for full itinerary, what to bring and more details, spaces are limited to 25 max and will be booked on a first in best quilted basis, rooms are bunk rooms with two sets of bunks (4 beds in each, we will only allocate the bottom two beds however if you don't mind the top bunk we can fit more friends in together, so please book in together with friends if possible just phone through your requirements. Please fill out the attached enrolment form and post to us as well ASAP. Payments can be made by cash in person, cheque with enrolment form, direct deposit or by credit card over the phone, call 0357501522.( Cancellations after 1st May will lose their deposits if place cannot be filled, after 14th May no refunds given on monies paid.)
Those wishing to come for the day only on Saturday 21st May, spaces will be limited to 10 and cost for day is $75, includes all meals. Bookings will be taken with payment in full by 10th March.
